Help Support Crestwood! Pay Dues Here:
Check out Crestwood's new entrance signs at the Red Haw Dr. and Bethany Ln. entrances! New signs were made possible by the Neighborhood Improvement Grant and donations from Crestwood neighbors! Thanks to all who helped make this possible.
Come anytime between 9-noon! Meet at the table in front of Gethsemane Lutheran Church between 9am-Noon. Crestwood volunteers will be manning a table. Volunteers will need to sign in. The city is providing shirts, gloves, and trash bags. The goal is to clear along Crestwood's boundaries on Clinton and Washington Ctr. This counts as community service for students and can be added to their transcripts!
Note: This is a separate event from Dumpster Day (May 16th) but if we get rained out, we will use May 16th as our backup date.
PROGRAM INFORMATION:
The Great American Cleanup in Fort Wayne is scheduled for Saturday, May 2, 2026.
Fort Wayne - The Great American Cleanup is the nation's largest community improvement program that Fort Wayne has participated in for over 30 years. It is a time when we can show our community pride by lending a hand to clean up littered roadsides, parks, trails and riverways.
A clean city makes a difference: It looks better to residents and visitors, and it improves the overall quality of life. Litter, graffiti, unkempt parks and trails, and scattered debris create unsightly areas that would give visitors the wrong impression. Through the work of volunteers, we can come together and show how much we care about Fort Wayne's neighborhoods and public spaces.
The City provides groups with garbage bags, gloves, and T-shirts.
Crestwood's Spring Garage Sale- May 8th, 9th, and 10th
Garage Sale typically runs from 9AM-6PM weather pending.
Mark your calendars for our Neighborhood Wide Spring Garage Sale!
Whether you are selling or shopping, it is a great way to declutter, find treasures, and connect with neighbors. Be sure to register your sale! The association will be publishing the garage directory in our Facebook group, this website, and passing it out to all who stop at the association's "Free Tent." >>> Register Your Sale Here!
🌟 Free Tent - Back by Popular Demand!
Residents can drop off unwanted items at the association’s Free Tent located at 1604 Tulip Tree Rd beginning May 6th. This is perfect if you do not want to host your own sale. Shoppers can browse and take items at no cost while picking up the Garage Sale Guide. We will also be accepting donations, signing up members, sharing neighborhood updates, and passing out the garage sale directory.
Volunteer Opportunity!
We’re looking for a few volunteers to help staff the tent for short shifts throughout the day. Volunteers will greet residents, answer simple questions about the association, and help share information about neighborhood programs and events.
No special experience is required-just a friendly attitude and a willingness to help support our neighborhood!
Volunteer duties may include:
Greeting neighbors and visitors
Sharing information about the association and upcoming events
Helping keep the tent area organized
Even one hour of your time makes a big difference in helping keep our neighborhood connected and thriving. Text/Leave a voicemail at 260-255-4487 or email crestwoodnha@gmail.com
Saturday, May 16th 8AM-Noon (or until trash truck and dumpster are full)
Got items you’d normally take to the landfill? Bring them to our Neighborhood Dumpster Day!
This year the city is providing both a rear-load trash truck and a roll-off dumpster, allowing us to serve more residents than ever.
What’s New This Year?
All residents are invited to bring their unwanted items to the dumpster site. Volunteers will be available to help residents who need help transporting their items.
*All pick-ups must be scheduled in advance so we can better organize routes, timing, and volunteers. Please note: The event will end at noon or as soon as the dumpster and trash truck are full.
As always, volunteers will sort scrap metal and usable items to resell, with proceeds supporting the neighborhood. We’re happy to help anyone who needs assistance submitting a pick-up request.

On June 17, 2025, the Crestwood Neighborhood Association officially merged with the neighboring communities of:
North Sherwood Terrace

Summerfield
These areas are now fully part of Crestwood, forming one united neighborhood association. This decision was approved by resident vote and is formally recognized by the City of Fort Wayne.
A stronger collective voice in city conversations and planning
Unified identity and signage across all areas
Streamlined communication and leadership structure
Increased membership, resulting in more dues collected and a larger budget
More resources = more events, beautification projects, and neighborhood improvements
Together, we are building a more inclusive, active, and supportive community under one name — Crestwood.
